Matilde and her crew are professional and friendly. She showed up for the free estimate with her lovely daughter to give me a quote on trimming a date palm tree.   I had several trees that needed lots of pruning and trimming. I had several estimates from other companies, but I decided to use Matilde's Tree Service. The owner (Matilde) was responsive, competitive with her pricing and easy to work with. Her and her crew did an excellent job. They went above and beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend their services and use them in the future.

  (This review is supposed to be for services in 2015. For some reason it didn't post until now. obviously 8 years has passed and I have no idea about the current state/service of this company.)

I had to find someone to do some tree trimming in Silver Lake at my mom's house. Based on the reviews, I decided to refer her to Matilde's.

Overall, it was a great experience for my mom. They trimmed the limbs off some really tall trees (and did it properly with the necessary ropes and such), took out a dead lemon tree, and lots of other odds and ends. They cleaned up the area above and beyond what we expected and worked very efficiently.

My mom even told me Matilde brought her a plate of homemade tacos.

The price was reasonable, the work was thorough, and my mom was very pleased.
